Diploma in Animation for Formators
This one-year residential diploma program is designed for women religious preparing to take on roles of formation and leadership in their congregations. The course emphasizes holistic formation—spiritual, intellectual, emotional, and practical—rooted in community living.
Admission Requirements
- Professed religious with a minimum of three years of lived experience in religious communities, ideally aged between 30–40 years.
- Completed at least one year of theological studies and holds a graduate degree in secular studies.
- Willingness to participate in full-time residential life at Institute Mater Dei, forming a community of prayer, study, and service.
- Proficiency in English, as it is the medium of instruction and communication.
Program Overview
The course provides a strong foundation in the spiritual, psychological, emotional, and intellectual aspects of formation ministry. It includes:
- Liturgical celebrations and guided personal prayer
- Community living and interpersonal relationship building
- Leadership training and group dynamics
- Contextual theology and mission in the Indian setting
- Preparation of teaching and retreat modules
- Exposure programs and social analysis
Through lectures, spiritual direction, creative exercises, and practical sessions, participants are equipped to be effective and compassionate formators.
Assessment & Certification
- All modules are formally assessed and graded.
- Graduates will be awarded a Diploma and a marks card during the final Valedictory program.
